Women's Fashion Trends

By dilbert at 2010-10-27 01:18:44
Here's the thing: back in the day, fashion was all about being original. About making a statement about one's individuality. So far so awesome. Then along came the corporate fat cats and before anyone could say "crew neck", womens shirts (and men's, for that matter) had been standardised with these horrible things called logos.

On the other end of the spectrum there are women that buy clothes with the plans to lose weight but never do. Women wearing unflattering tight clothes resemble overinflated Thanksgiving Day Parade Balloons that could pop at any moment.

As you first meet a client, encounter a blind date, or apply for your dream job, the color of your clothes sends out signals that speak to the brains of onlookers. The many choices of available garment colors and shades paint a picture about yourself before you even have a chance to open your mouth. For example, there are certain colors that bring about specific emotions in individuals, which have the potential of becoming quite advantageous or end in undesirable results.

If you want to stand out from the crowd pick strong bright yellows such as an acid yellow strong and dazzling with high energy is for. You need to however be careful of the yellow you wear and match it to your skin tone - Those with fairer skin tones should stick to subtle pastels of yellow leaving bright yellows to darker and olive skinned wearers otherwise you will look washed out next to your clothing

Once in awhile, you might want to spice up your work wear by matching a plain skirt with a red shirt. Keep it nice and simple, though! You don't want too many stitches, laces or frills on a shirt which will already attract enough attention.

There are some basic colors in women's clothing that will never go out of style. They're "in fashion" year after year, season after season. These are black, khaki tan, green, and blue. Some bright colors that never seem to go out of style are red, white, and many light pastels. Though designs and styles may change, these colors are always around. The good news is women can mix and match these colors to create all sorts of stylish outfits.

When the 1930s arrived, women's fashion took a turn back to portraying a more "ladylike" appearance. The clothes were feminine in style - crisp and clean during the day and glamorous by night. More sophisticated shoes emerged, including the strappy open-toed sandal. Additional features of the decade included short-fitted suits and jackets, the "little black dress," and the introduction of nylon.

A right pant can explore the curve, give your butts a pleasant shape and force people to constantly admire your unique beauty. However, choosing a trouser for women this year can be an art. Just study carefully how you look like and that will help you find out the best suitable stuff.

Skirts became much shorter - leading to the creation of the "mini." Stockings were tossed to the side and pantyhose made an impression on the women of the 60's. Flat boots were worn with very short dresses. Additional fashion introductions of the 60s included psychedelic fabric prints, denim jeans, and the pill box hat. Shoes became chunkier, displaying thicker low heels with rounded or squared toes. Buckle shoes were quite "in" with matching gold or silver heels to match the buckles.
